Background
ICUC is a medical research group focused on medical education. They provide a learning platform with an extensive database that includes surgical and trauma cases, catering to both surgeons and medical students. With access to over 450 cases, the platform serves as a comprehensive guide, offering step-by-step instructions for surgical procedures.
The challenge
Digitalization of learning
The project faced significant challenges, primarily concerning the integration of ICUC's existing features and systems to access case information while incorporating essential new features. Collaborating with a design studio was also crucial to ensure a user-friendly and intuitive app experience. Additionally, special attention was given to seamlessly integrating 3D images, which played a central role in the application's functionality.

We employed agile methodologies, enabling us to adapt to their evolving needs by incorporating continuous feedback. To enhance user experience, we conducted usability tests with multiple doctors, evaluating their interaction with the website, identifying effective aspects, and pinpointing areas that required improvement.

It provides access to world-leading surgical cases, offering step-by-step guides, images, and 3D visuals. Its mission is to help doctors learn from leading surgeons, contributing to medical progress through data transparency and widespread knowledge access.
