Background
CrimeDoor was founded with the mission of creating a platform dedicated to exploring a database of unsolved criminal cases using Augmented Reality and other immersive formats. The goal was to offer users an interactive experience, allowing them to actively investigate and engage with notorious mysteries.
The challenge

The challenge was to develop a criminal case register platform that incorporated diverse formats and technologies for a captivating user experience. The app aimed to enable users to delve into unsolved mysteries through Augmented Reality, podcasts, videos, articles, police reports, and more. Our goal was to seamlessly integrate these features, ensuring a smooth user journey throughout the entire app.

We crafted an app that harnessed Augmented Reality and diverse multimedia formats for an immersive and engaging experience. In addition, we integrated payment methods, maps, social media sign-in, and Algolia search, ensuring a seamless user experience.

CrimeDoor, the #1 platform for true crime enthusiasts, presents a vast collection of unsolved cases, mysterious deaths, missing persons, and celebrity murders. By encouraging user participation in solving open cases and shedding light on mysteries, CrimeDoor not only provides chilling insights into crime scenes but also contributes to ongoing investigations and the pursuit of justice.

Augmented Reality
We were the 1st Development Company to integrate AR in Flutter with Unity. As a result of this anticipated technological decision, users can walk into a crime scene through a virtual door, and investigate first-hand the unresolved cases from CrimeDoor’s database.
Technology Integrations
We enriched the user experience by implementing various integrations and functionalities. These included payment methods and subscriptions, map integration, social media sign-in (Google, Facebook, Apple), Algolia for profile search, and Unity for Augmented Reality. Additionally, we incorporated features like background podcast streaming and a dynamic home page that pulled data from the database.
