The challenge
A user-friendly app
We faced the challenge of creating a vibrant and user-friendly platform that could redefine how people think about their wardrobes. The platform needed to enable users to effortlessly upload and swap items such as clothing and accessories while integrating social elements that promote engagement and interaction. Additionally, we had to ensure a smooth process for item listings, including detailed photo uploads and specific attribute entries, such as item type, brand, size, and color.

Colorful designs and third-party integrations
To enhance user engagement, we designed the app with a colorful and inviting interface, making navigation and interaction as intuitive as possible. The app supports detailed item listings, including multiple photos and essential information, and features a credit system where users earn credits for posting items, which they can use to claim clothes from others. To streamline the transaction process, we integrated Stripe for secure payments and Shippo for efficient shipping logistics, ensuring a seamless exchange experience from posting to checkout.
The result
bonnee successfully blends functionality with social engagement, creating a vibrant community-driven environment. Users can easily post and exchange clothing items, leveraging detailed descriptions and photos, and the credit system incentivizes active participation.
Features like "Outfit of the Day" encourage users to share daily looks, while the wishlist function allows for future swaps of favored items. Integrations with Stripe and Shippo ensure secure transactions and efficient shipping, simplifying the user experience and enhancing reliability.
