Fórmula viewed the opportunity to create a beauty community in a country where it wasn’t yet exploited to the fullest. They came up with the idea to have a system to give each person a personalized “beauty bag” to their home every month with just one click.
Fórmula needed to contemplate every person’s characteristics to create personalized bags. For that, they created Fórmula Quiz so that every customer could fill out the information about themselves and preferences to receive the products they wanted.
Here is represented the complete journey of obtaining the Fórmula Bag, from the user deciding to subscribe until they receive it at their doorstep.
There were a series of automated jobs executed every month under the hood.
The first attempt to charge registered users for this month’s bag and confirm their subscription.
The outcome was a usable, modern, and powerful Web that reached more than +6000 registered users. Every time subscriptions opened the quotas were sold out. It was such a boom that they even created new systems such as Fórmula box and a blog.
Once the web was ready we started releasing functionalities so that they were not tied to us and could manage it by themselves, such as uploading blog notes. This way they had a greater degree of freedom and management of the system. Together with Fórmula we were building functionalities as the idea was evolving, making sure that changes and ideas would bring more value to the users.
Due to Fórmula Bag’s success, Fórmula Box was born. It arose as a need to reinvent the business. Fórmula Bag’s clients began demanding more products and with better quality. Thus appeared the Fórmula Box.
